Frankie and Abby

I had the opportunity to shoot a wedding last weekend with Tara Sieling who is going to be my wedding photographer in September! Anyhow, it was a great wedding and I had a fun time. Here's some of the highlights...

A little Reservoir Dogs action...

The guy on the left was cracking me up.

Going in style.

They are both Police Officers and this was the car their God son rode in on...

This little guy had the biggest cheesiest smile...when he wanted to...

And don't forget about the ring bearer!

Reminds me of how my wedding will be with our dog Zoe as the bearer.

It was a great place to shoot with the snow covered mountains in the background.

There's that cheesy smile!

Ching ching ching ching ching...

No cake in the face...

Having fun!

Look at the look on her face.

The first dance.

A happy mom and a happy ending...

Get out IN the rain!

Here's a thought for the day: Get out of your bed, your cubicle, your "fill in the blank" and take a walk in the rain! Don't worry about getting wet. It's just water. After all you're made of water. Don't listen to the local news station that is over dramatizing how horrible the rain is - "Storm watch 09!" "mudslide and flash flood warnings!" blah blah blah. Get out and take a moment to appreciate the rain and how you're alive to experience it. I did.

You might miss something like this:

And for that matter, get up early next time and watch the sunrise. Remind yourself that it's a new day.

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog! That sounds so wierd...I have a blog...Yes, I'm officially a "blogger". My intention for this blog is for you guys to get to know me a little better and also to add an additional dimension to my work. There's another side to just viewing an image that sometimes really needs to be put out there. Maybe it's the back story, maybe it's just a nice quote. Whatever it may be, words can speak just as loudly as images sometimes.

I promise to try and entertain you a bit here - not like a one man Vegas show but I'll try to make this blog useful and not just me rambling.

How about starting out with a quote you can bank on...

"People are just as happy as they make up their minds to be." - Abraham Lincoln
