Back in town...

I am back from an awesome backpacking trip in the Eastern Sierras. I had a blast, except for when a bear tried to steal our food on the last night. We started out near Mammoth and did about a 20 mile loop through Shadow Creek and up to Garnett and Thousand Island lake out to June Lake. We saw some amazing scenery.

If you are planning something similar make sure to take your bug spray!

This is Shadow creek. We camped above it the first night.

This is the result of the full moon rising above our camp. It lit up the trees like headlights.
