Yep, that's right, today is April 22nd - better known as Earth Day. Hopefully you already knew that. Today is the the day we celebrate the Earth and all it's grandeur.
I've been to some magical places on this planet. Words cannot do these places justice and that is why I love photography so much. I'm sharing a small collection of my favorite photos with you here today in honor of Earth Day. These places and animals may not be here for our grandchildren to experience if we keep up with what we are doing. And just as equally important - our grandchildren may not be here to experience them either.
My hope is that you will come to celebrate Earth Day everyday. I hope you'll find these photos inspiring. I know these places were awe inspiring to me and all hold a special place in my heart. Maybe you'll be inspired to do one small thing that will help this planet stay healthy. Will you? One small thing? Commit to not littering. Pick up some trash. Turn your electronics off for an hour. Maybe more. Learn about the negative effects we have on our Earth and what we can do about it. Something, anything. Maybe that one small thing can turn into a habit. Imagine the impact you'll be making then.
